MAEUR Study Trip Committee

The MAEUR Study Trip (formerly known as International Marketing trip) consists of a 4-day trip to a European city with an attractive and challenging program, combining culture, business-related activities and social events. The responsibilities of the committee consist of choosing a destination, contacting companies and organising different marketing related activities. Not to mention, the program will also include fun social activities to get a test of the local culture and nightlife. Previous trips went to Prague, Barcelona, Budapest, and more! The trip takes place in March.

Details

  • Who: Bachelor 1, 2, 3 and (pre)master students
  • Workload: Part time (5-7 hours/week - depending on position and time of the year)
  • Duration: October ‘24 – March ‘25
  • Language: EN and/or NL

Positions

  • Chair: The Chair functions as an intermediary between the board and the committee, being the contact person for the Project Coordinator and Treasurer of the MAEUR board. Among the responsibilities of a chair are scheduling and leading committee meetings, monitoring the tasks of each individual committee member and the overall planning processes.
  • External Relations Coordinator (2x): The External Relations Coordinators are responsible for the acquisition of companies sponsoring or to be visited during The International Marketing trip, which is crucial for the success of The International Marketing trip. This includes leading the contact with the companies and being responsible for the content of the acquisition brochure. Other tasks consist of coaching committee members during the acquisition process and making weekly schedules for call shifts.
  • Marketing & Communications CoordinatorThe Marketing & Communications Coordinator is responsible for marketing and promoting The International Marketing trip, as well as for the communication with students and participants. This includes developing an attractive campaign for both students and companies, creating an acquisition brochure and a program booklet, as well as posters, flyers, and social media content.
  • Program Coordinator (2x): The Program Coordinator is the contact person during the trip and arranges all practical matters that are necessary to create an unforgettable program, including accommodations and transport, dinners, and all the activities.
